BONNE-ESPERANCE TRIPLE  t_u  t_u

Abbey Triple ( is/used to be a Certified Abbey beer ) from Abbaye de
Bonne-Esperance, brewed at Binchoise, with an ABV of 7.8%. Last tasted in 2010.

Pours a golden blonde with a huge rocky creamy frothy head. Good lacing.

Sweet hoppy aroma with malts, spices and phenols.

It's medium bodied, and highly carbonated with a soft fizzy filling mouthfeel.
Plenty of fruits, hops, malts, spices, honey, caramel, lemon, white wine, breads,
and phenols. This bottle is 18 months past its "use by date" and hasn't aged
particularly well, so there isn't the crispness and sharpness as expected. Some
complexity, well balanced, and with a nice long bitter finish. Nice brew!

Cheers!
