BLASTING CITRA  t_u t_u t_u

( Double ) Red IPA from ( beerfirm ) Tartaruga, brewed at de Ranke, with an ABV of
9.0%. New brew for me.

Pours a deep ruddy amber with a huge rocky frothy bubbly head, which produces great
lacing.

Malty and hoppy aroma.

It's medium bodied, and fairly highly carbonated with a soft yet fizzy filling
mouthfeel. You can indeed taste the profiles of a Double, Amber and the IPA, although
I think that the IPA does dominate. Hoppy, citrus laden, fruity, sharp and crisp,
tangy, jammy, malty, caramel, resins, spices, and sweetish yet with a long dry and
slightly bitter finish. Probably about mid-range quality-wise for the style. Nice
brew!

Cheers!
