Last Friday evening, a great Beer Swap was held here in Bruges at amazing Bruges' beer shop Stacks!!
It's the first edition of Stacks New Year's Bottle Share 

The BBB was present, and captured things, including tasting many masterly beers !!!

Hi John,
We had a wonderful time at Stacks 
It was the first edition, and ofcourse needs to grow. (that sure will happen)
Stacks offers the widest selection of specialty beers from Belgium (but also from abroad) here in Bruges with the focus on top quality! Alot has been done to import the best of the best what the world has to offer.
Note that they also have a second location here in Bruges, more precise at nearby Sint-Andries.
An amazing job by Ward Scherpereel and the whole crew, incl. his parents (owners).
I'm already excited to join the next edition in 2027, such a treat.
Together with The International Beer Swap we hold at Bourgogne des Flandres a fantastic duo to cherise.

Quick question mate, how far is Stacks from the centre of Bruges...how long would it take us to walk there?

Hi Jay,
It is quite a short walk from the centre of Bruges.



2km: about 27 minutes walk.

Actually, this is a nice walk too. You'll pass the Kruispoort and head to the Maalsesteenweg, where alot of supermarkets are located You sure will have that local feeling

If that's a bit too far for you and Linda, there is always taxi Filip @ Your Service

It looks like a nice stroll down Langestraat, if the weather is dry then it should be an easy half hour walk.

No doubt we'll pick up beers you don't see in other stores.

Hi Jay,
You will be amazed about their beer choice !! MASSIVE !
Today, the whole groundfloor is now a beer shop. Earlier, this was about half of the space.
Quite impressive, also the choice of beers  You'll LOVE it Jay.
