Unfortunately we'll be giving the festival a miss this year...but it's not all bad news as there's a reason, it coincides with our family holiday to Spain (we're returning to Malaga) a resort that proved a big hit when we last visited back in 2022.

Wishing all our beery friends a wonderful festival and bottle share, here's to next year's

May you and your family enjoy your Spanish holiday in Malaga Jay. Hard to go wrong with that scenario mate.

I was hoping to make it to this year's BBF festival (finally!), but recent developments as to the well being of my car are starting to make that a likely impossibility. The old gal is 18 years old and has 360,000 miles on her. Love that vehicle so much, it's been a trusty steed over the years but it looks like I'll have to put that potential BBF money towards a new(er) vehicle soon.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to whatever you might be able to share here (both beery and non beery) as for your Malaga adventures.

Cheers! - John

Hi Guys,
TOO bad !!!!!  ::::::(
BUT, there's always first-priority more important things.
And those you both mention are really fitting t_u
The next edition will be different I think.
The opening hours have changed. Saturday ends at midnight, and there is live music performance too by two bands, similar to the Koekelare beer fest. Benifits the atmosphere I think.
Looking forward and the beer swap too. I'll report back !!
Have a great Holiday to Malaga Jay & Linda !!! Enjoy !!
Cheers,
Filip

Hi,
The 17th. Bruges Beer Fest already came to an end. How time flies so fast.
The good news is that The attendancy was great !! More people than last year for sure.
Live music performance on Saturday evening (which I didn't attend) should have attracted younger people. good move !!
I heard chairman Marc Vandepitte saying that the fest will happen again next year.
It's only what I heard, so nothing official yet, but I'm confident  t_u

I took some pictures and distilled yet another picture report.

Cheers and up to the 18th. edition !!!  F_C

Great to hear that attendance figures were up on last year, it can surely only be positive news for next year  F_C

The live music is another move in the right direction, there's even an MBCC vibe to it  :appauding-1:

Here's some band pics from BABs Facebook and Instagram pages, it looks like a lively evening

Hi Jay,
Nice to put the additional music performance pictures  t_u
The first band started at 8pm, but we were already exhaused (incl. the Friday evening before) and didn't take part.
It is defintely a great move from BAB to insert some live music from local quality bands.
That has attracted alot of young people  t_u
Cheers,
Filip
