Great little report Filip, the Trappist festival always had that special feel to it
This past weekend I myself indulged in a bit of Trappist for my “Belgian Sunday” and chose one from La Trappe that I’ve only had maybe twice before.
La Trappe Isid'or - 7.5% Belgian Amber Ale.
Isid'or was first brewed in 2009 to commemorate the the Trappist breweries 125th anniversary and was named after brother Isidorus, Koningshoeven Abbey’s first brewer.
Pours a hazy deep amber and is topped with a lasting white head.
Rich malts, baked bread, banana, caramel, yeast, dried fruits…a great addition to the La Trappe lineup.
