It's going to be another fantastic evening filled with great beers, great friends, great chats and all in new surroundings.

It's amazing to think that despite Bourgogne des Flanders being right on our doorstep (regarding our hotel) we've actually never visited, so it will be a new experience for both me and Linda

Cheers

Hi Filip,

Great pictorial report!

Amazing how many of the breweries I had never even heard of! Let alone their brews.
And quite a few had many brews to choose from too, so they must be well established,
rather than say a one-off "experimental" brew offered gaining a reputation before
expanding a range of brews.

There's probably too much choice now in reality. Unless you're a ticker chasing down
every brew the choice is overwhelming so maybe some of the breweries won't last long
as the market appears to be saturated. With obscure names and types of beer brewed
they will probably struggle.

So, we shall see......

I wish them all all the luck, and congratulate them on their entrepreneurial spirit!

Cheers!

Yes Viv,
Always too much choice and always an over-saturation of different or not so different beers as result.
But --- more is not always better ofcourse.
I rather prefer less beers with quality than a million of beers from the same.
Less = More :)
Cheers,
Filip
