ST.CANARUS TRIPLE  t_u  t_u  t_u

Triple from St.Canarus, with an ABV of 7.5%. Last tasted in 2013.
New label too!

Pours a golden amber with a good sized frothy creamy head. Good lacing.

Spicy, fruity, hoppy and malty aroma.

It's medium bodied, with a nice soft filling and very slightly effervescent.
Some complexity, well balanced and with strong depth of flavour, it's very
smooth, creamy and luxurious in texture and taste. Lots of gentle spices
especially ginger, plus hops, florals and fruit with a malt base. Hints of
honey and caramel. Overall dry and bitter. I definitely like this brew
far more than when I last tasted it, but it now comes out midway between
the worst and best of this style.

Cheers!

It's been probably 8 years or so since I've had that beer, (that was in Ghent), So I don't know what it's like these days, but I seem to remember that I enjoyed it back then.
