BITTER WAARHEID  t_u t_u t_u t_u

Triple IPA from Het Alternatief, with an ABV of 11.0%. Tasted just the
once back in 2013.

Pours a light amber golden blonde, with a good sized bubbly creamy head.
Good lacing.

Hoppy fruity aroma.

It's full bodied, oily and yet with carbonation levels producing a fizzy
filling and soft mouthfeel, and right to the end. Full flavoured,
balanced and complex. It's crisp, dry and bitter, and very moreish indeed.
Plenty of layers of herbal hops, malts, fruits especially lemon and
tropicals, pine, resin, phenol, vanilla, cereals, caramel and honey,
plus an earthy background. Predominantly an IPA, but the Triple taste
profiles are there in the background, and increase slightly as it warms.
Great brew!

Cheers!
