KWAK BLONDE  t_u  t_u  t_u  t_u

Blonde Ale from Bosteels, with an ABV of 7.4%. new brew for me.

Pours a crystal clear golden blonde with a bubbly creamy head. Great lacing.

Herby, spicy, fruity, hoppy and malty aroma.

Medium bodied and nicely carbonated. Complex, balanced and excellent depth of
flavour. Smooth, creamy, luxurious taste and texture. Malt based, with plentiful
hops, spices, caramel, honey, grains, and fruit especially banana. Very dry,
but not that bitter. Elegant and refined. Oustanding brew, and one of the best
of the style. Impressive!

Cheers!

Yes Viv,
That's also a winner for me!!!
Quite impressed with that quality outcome.
too bad about your low  t_u  t_u  score of the Kwak rouge. personally I would give it at least a  t_u more. But that's my personal humble opinion ofcourse  t_u

Hi Filip,

It's not that I don't like fruit beers per se, it's just
that I don't find them interesting enough to ever make it to
the top tier of quality for me.

They will always be slightly "novelty" brews in my mind,
yet Lambic Krieks, again a type of fruit beer, can be almost
as good as the Gueuze or Lambieks themselves.

It's all subject to personal preferences anyway! We're all
different thank goodness!

Cheers!
