KWAK ROUGE  t_u  t_u

Fruit beer from Bosteels, with an ABV of 8.0%. New brew for me.

Pours a deep amber ruby with a pinkish bubbly creamy head. Good lacing.

Medium bodied and nicely carbonated with a slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Not that
complex, far too sweet especially when coldest although it does mellow nicely
when warmed, but good depth of flavour. Overwhelmed with sherbet, cherry, almond,
citric and berry fruit, grains, and alas a good dose of cough medicine. Not a
winner for me, but a rather poor and disappointing example of the style.

Cheers!
