Here is our Xmas beer we tried.







Vintage Delirium Christmas  - Bry. Huyghe - 10 vol%.

Brewed in 2015 with a best before of 09/2018, a very nice gift from Rudy (Bierboom) 

Yes, there was that bit of oxidation, so typical for aged beers.
But it sure was still very drinkable and above all very enjoyable too.
it poured with an acceptable head. Still quite carbonated too.
Caramel malty, sweetish, nothing hoppy (logic), nothing spicy too.
The mouth feeling was satisfying thick and the alcoholic boost of 10 vol% nearly giving you a real Delirium Tremens (no, that's a joke ofcourse )
Anyway, what a great Xmas beer this is. And I'm sure the fresh version will be MUCH better
