TIMMERMANS LAMBICUS BLANCHE  t_u  t_u  t_u  t_u

A blend of Lambic beer and wheatbeer from Timmermans, with an ABV of 4.5%. Last
tasted in 2004.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden blonde with a large frothy creamy head. Good lacing.

Sharp, tart, fresh, crisp, bretty, herbal, floral and vinegary aroma.

It's medium bodied, and nicely carbonated. Lovely layered complexity, rounded, and
excellent depth of flavour especially for the low ABV. Smooth, rich and creamy,
sweetish yet dry, with honey, caramel, florals and herbals, as well as strong citrics,
vinegar, brett, grains especially wheat, spices especially coriander, even some chalk.
Refreshing, very easy drinking, and with a slightly puckering finish. You can clearly
taste the lambic and wheatbeer profiles. I really like this brew now, having been
rather unimpressed last time although that was a long time ago! Fantastic brew!

Cheers!
