KATSBIER TRIPLE  t_u  t_u  t_u  t_u

Triple from de Katsbier, with an ABV of 9.0%. New brew for me, and
new brewery.

Pours a golden blonde, with a frothy creamy head. Some lacing.

Aroma of herbals, honey and hops.

It's medium bodied, and nicely carbonated. Complex, rounded and with
good depth of flavour. Rich, smooth and creamy texture and taste. Hops,
malts, herbals, honey, caramel, stone fruit especially apricot, citrics
especially orange and with just a hint of menthol in the drier finish.
This is a great brew!

However, when I looked at the label again after tasting I realised that
it was brewed by de Katsbier based in Meteren. This town is in the Nord
department of France ( next to the Belgian border ). Amazing, as this brew
looks, feels and tastes as if was brewed in Belgium!!! Much surprise!
And one of the best brews I have ever tasted from France too!
