XII FLEMISH RED  t_u  t_u  t_u  t_u  t_u

Flanders Red Ale from SOSAB, brewed at The Brew Society, with an ABV of 5.2%. New
brew and new brewfirm for me.

Pours a deep ruby burgundy, with a good sized frothy creamy head. Good lacing.

Sour, tart, crisp, fresh and sharp aroma filled with fruits too.

It's medium bodied, and nicely carbonated. Good complexity, nicely rounded, and
with excellent depth of flavour. Smooth, easy drinking, creamy, crisp, fresh, tart,
sharp, sour, bittersweet, with caramel, fruity especially cherry, fig, oak wood,
acidic and balsamic vinegar too. However, it really mellows as it warms. Outstanding
brew, almost up there with the Duchesse!
