Dark Saison from Galea ( in conjunction with Gistgeest, and brewed at Craywinkelhof),
with an ABV of 8.5%. New brew for me.

Pours a very deep dark ruby burgundy, with a creamy frothy head. Good lacing.

Lovely aroma of hop, burnt malts, chocolate and caramel.

It's medium bodied, and nicely carbonated, complex, balanced and with a good depth of
flavour. Creamy, rich, smooth and luxurious taste and mouthfeel, with caramel, malts,
hops, chocolate, cocoa powder, mocha, coffee, Horlicks, with a long dry and slightly
bitter finish. Great brew.

Cheers!
