RODENBACH RED TRIPLE  t_u  t_u  t_u  t_u  t_u

Limited Edition 200th Anniversary brew from Rodenbach, a Triple blended
with a Flemish Red, with an ABV of 8.2%. New brew for me.

Pours a deep burgundy ruby with a huge frothy bubbly head. Some lacing.

Subtle malt aroma.

Medium bodied, and nicely carbonated. Smooth and soft, complex, layered and with
good depth of flavour. Lots of malts, caramel, grains, fruits especially cherry,
cherry pip, raspberry, and overall very dry, bittersweet, woody, along with a
hint of tart sour too. When it has warmed up then there is marzipan, brandy,
and port, and it's quite vinous too. Long finish, with a cloying taste throughout
the mouth. Excellent brew!

Cheers!
