TETE DE MORT TRIPLE RED  t_u t_u t_u

Triple Fruitbeer from du Bocq, with an ABV of 8.2%. New brew for me.

Pours a deep ruby pink with a huge towering rocky pink head. Good lacing.

Sickly sweet sherbet sugar cherry aroma.

It's medium bodied, and nicely carbonated with a soft a slightly fizzy mouthfeel.
Good depth of flavour, balanced and complex. There's lots going on with fruits
especially raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant, cherry, blackcurrant, malts, hops,
almonds, cherry stones, some sherbet, jam, and grains, all delivered in a refreshing
slightly tart and sharp way, and dominated by the dry and bittersweet play. Even
slightly puckering at times.

Overall a very good example of the style, and definitely one of the best. The Triple
profile comes more into play as the beer warms and mellows and becomes far
smoother with some caramel and lemon.

Cheers!
