ROCS'S SAISON  t_u  t_u

Saison from Abbaye des Rocs, with an ABV of 5.4%. New brew for me.

Pours a pale golden with a large frothy bubbly head. Good lacing is produced.

Fresh airy hoppy herby floral aroma.

Thin bodied, and perfectly carbonated. It's layered, with limited complexity, not
much in the way of depth of flavour, but it's fresh, refreshing, spritzy, fruity and
herby, crisp and sharp, with lots of fennel, mint, wild garlic, and strong lime, with
some orange and tangerine. Dry bitter and floral too. Easy drinking and a great summer
drink rather than a fireside sipper. Unfortunately it's only average for the style
but certainly still a lovely brew.
