Hi guys,

Last night I finally tasted a bottle of Westy that had been resting since 2017... and I hadn't tasted a Westy since 2019 either.

It was bottled in September 2016 so 6.5 years of age. A vintage!

Lovely aroma of leather and tobacco, and something else that I just could not name....

Wonderful rich, luxurious, and smooth texture and taste including
raisin, sultana, prune, date, caramel, toffee, sweet sherry, dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Aged well.

Simply    F A N T A S T I C!

Cheers!

Such a lovely beer. Whether a newer or an aged bottle, it's a real beauty.
