Yesterday I picked up a St Bernardus gift box. It contained 6 different beers, along with two small taster glasses. Today I started off with the "smallest" beer of the six, the Extra 4. It's a 4.8% blonde beer. Nice and crisp, beautifully balanced, a beer that I could happily drink on a regular basis if it was normally available here and affordable. Unfortunately though this isn't a beer you can find in my neck of the woods, which is one of the reasons I purchased this gift set. A real nice, very drinkable beer. Cheers! - John

That's exactly what I thought too Viv.
Pictures like this, make Belgian beer so unreal (in a good way ofcourse).
These days, It's damn cold here in Belgium. We had one week of freezing temperatures, but today the temperatures are finally above zero. Still cold, rainy, and windy though.

Keep'em going John, a true pleasure.

Hi guys,

We have also had a change in the weather with 14C today and wet, dark
and windy conditions; last week we had it a bit different with -7C most nights and hardly above freezing in the days too. One small snowfall lasted
the whole week with "winter wonderland" every day but of course slippery,
icy and too cold!

Cheers!

The nights have been cold here lately, well, cold for this part of California. It's been below freezing, the low 30's f and some nights even into the 20's f, and any water on the ground is solid ice in the early morning. Have to be careful when walking, which most people around here don't have much practice at.

Ch-ch-ch- Cheers! - John
