BREWER'S NIGHTMARE  t_u  t_u  t_u  t_u  t_u

Imperial Stout from Brambrass, brewed at de Meester, with an ABV of 10.0%. New brew for me.

Pours a jet black, with a large light brown frothy creamy head. Some lacing.

Aroma of fresh dough, malts, toast, coffee, cocoa powder and fruits.

It's full bodied, oily, thick and slick, with perfect carbonation, rounded, balanced, with some complexity and good depth of flavour. Smooth, creamy, and luxurious in taste and texture, with mocha, coffee, plain chocolate, and cream dominating at its coldest but as it warms the hops and fruit especially grapefruit and orange take over, and there's some Drambuie, vanilla and some subtle spices too. Very moreish, sweet yet
dry and bitter. Excellent brew!

Cheers!
