Broers Imperial Stout

Hi Filip et al,

Tasted a bottle of Broers Imperial Stout last night and doing
some research it appears that it might be the new name for the
Zwarte Ruiter brew that I have had a couple of times before;
in fact the last bottle was earlier this year although it was
bought in 2020.

My tasting notes for the two brews do vary slightly though!

I have contacted the brewery for clarification.........

Direct from the Brewery:

Yes, the beer is the same, so it's just a rebranding/renaming
from Zwarte Ruiter to Broers Imperial Stout.

Thanks for clearing that out !
Re-brandings are a common fact here in Belgium.
Confusing yes, and maybe they should mention this on the label, if there is any space left ofcourse.
