Hi,
Quite some treat yesterday evening folks  t_u

Dark Love from "Brouwerij B"
www.brouwerijb.com

A strong dark, 8.5 vol%.
The "arrow" pointing up and down refer to the ancient symbolic designation of man and woman.

Look at the chunks of healthy yeast!
I really like this beer alot.
It's quite sweet and dense, and above all a very velvety soft beer.
Spicy, smoked and chocolate notes in the nose with a soft coffee chocolate flavor and soft aftertaste.
This beer is perfectly balanced too.
I sure give it a 10/10  :appauding-1:

I paired this beauty with a beautiful local cheese from the Herve region.
It's simply called Herve.
But this one has been enriched with a dose of local Pékèt, which is a spirit, similar to genevre, made at Liège.
Be aware, this cheese is not to everyone's taste.
Actually, it stinks like sweat feets, call it stinky feets.  8)
Once you get over the stench, this cheese can easily become one of your favorit Belgian cheeses, which it has become for me.

Cheers,
Filip
