Hi everyone,

Yesterday I indulged in my regular #belgiansunday and this time of year sees my favourite style of Belgians appearing on the shelves...Christmas beers.

So my first Kerstbier of 2022 and we kick off with one from Dubuisson and the seasonal Bush de Noël - 12% Belgian Strong Dark Ale.

Dark dried fruits, dark malt bread, subtle baking spices, Belgian candy sugar, toffee, raisins, anise...what a thumper to start with, what to have next Sunday 🇧🇪❤️

Cheers

Hi Jay,
What a great example of a delicious strong Belgian Xmas beer!
Today I have three Xmas beers at home.
ST Bernardus Xmas, Gouden Carolus Xmas, and.... the one you just tasted :)
I'll put my findings over here ASAP!
Cheers,
Filip

Hi Filip,

I also have those two outstanding beers but I'm saving them for December, I have a few other Christmas beers on my shelf so it's either a St Feuillien or Delirium this coming Sunday.

Cheers (and looking forward to you tastings)
