Our final day...

A final relaxing day after partying the previous night away  :D  so a taxi to the colourful Nyhavn harbour for a boat trip around Copenhagen, a most wonderful hour seeing the town from canal level learning about the historic buildings and bridges

After the tour it was a visit to the little convenience store just around the corner to pick up a few beers to bring back home - such a wonderful selection for a shop that from the outside looks just like any other

Heading back to our hotel to pack we first visited the Mikkeller bar on Viktoriagade our pick of the list a De Dolle Stille Nacht and a Beer Geek Vanilla Maple before a 3 Sons Kentucky Style Strong Ale and a Mikkeller Passion Pool coupled with a bar of Mikkeller chocolate to bring home (the last bar available)

It was time to head back to our hotel and finish packing before a taxi to BRUS for something to eat (and a beer or two) this place will always be that bit special, the home of To Øl beer - my first choice a To Øl Fully Chilled NEIPA (fantasticly fresh and so juicy) food was ordered in the form of House Burger and Fermented Fries coupled with a Glitter Crystals (Nectarine Farmhouse Ale) and a Whirl Domination NEIPA

Time for a bit of beer shopping in the onsite store and one last beer...for Linda a Let the Sun Shine NEIPA and me a Distortion in Space Time - 13.4% Imperial Stout aged for 2 years in Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrels...what a beer to bow out on as it was time to head back to our hotel.

Suitcases packed and ready for our early departure tomorrow we paid our final bar a visit, easily one of our favourites...ÅBEN

As the night closed in we looked back on what was simply another amazing visit to beautiful Copenhagen and another fantastic (and busiest yet) MBCC.
What an incredible 4 day trip it had been, I honestly never thought we'd visit Copenhagen just once let alone it be our 4th time...streets, bars and locations becoming heartwarmingly familiar and this is possibly the best yet (Malmö a definite again on our next visit) and so back to our hotel for a final cheers...Copenhagen we truly love you 🇩🇰❤️

The obligatory beer haul and maybe one of the very best

It's all about moderation mate, the beers are consumed over the course of a full day with plenty of snacks and water in between...don't go at it full force either or you'll ruin it for the day after.

Start the day with plenty of coffee and a traditional Danish breakfast and you're ready to tackle anything

Holy Moly Jay,
What a fantastic report yet again  :appauding-1:
You are the best beer ambassador for Denmark (and even for Sweden), that's been proven by now  :appauding-1:  :appauding-1:  :appauding-1:
According the liver, it's indeed a matter of moderation and knowing when to end. Not always that easy, I know.
Plenty of water, having a satisfying breakfast and eating inbetween is the key! ..... and don't get drunk either, quite essential really.
Anyway, what a truely enjoyable read this was. 4 Days to remember for ever and ever.
If that's OK for you Jay, I can publish the 4 episodes inside the main page. I think it could have much more readers that way. WELL deserved!!
Cheers and MANY thanks for all the publishing efforts. Not such an easy task, I do know  :appauding-1:  :appauding-1:  t_u  t_u

Wow, look at that beer list!  :o   It would take me a couple of months to drink my way through that. How to decide which ones to try in a matter of a couple of days ...  :chin:   Decisions decisions ...

Wishing you a wonderful time at the festival Cheers! - John
