Yesterday evening was cheese and beer evening here @ home.
When heading to "Tourpes en Activité" last weekend, we brought back some local artisanal cheeses, and a couple of excellent "Avec les Bons Voeux" 75cl bottles.
What else beats a food pairing like this?

The beer was paired with three cheeses.
Two are made at brewery Dupont, i.e. young Moinette and Carré à la Moinette.

Moinette Jeune is a semi-hard, brined cheese, matured in beer for 6 to 8 weeks.

Carré à la Moinette is a soft cheese with a beer-washed rind.é-à-la-moinette

Le Vieux Caillaux is made at fromagerie du Tourpier de la Cense Caillaux.
That's a short walk from the bewery, also located at Tourpes.
The cheese is matured for 2 to 3 weeks in the cellar (natural rinds).

That's some quality time folks  t_u
