Wheatbeer from Hugel, with an ABV of 7.0%. New brew for me.

Pours a golden blonde, with a huge frothy creamy head.

Strong aroma of bananas, herbs, spices and hops.

It's medium bodied, and well carbonated with initially a fizzy soft and filling mouthfeel. Plenty of complexity, and good depth of flavour. Overwhelmingly fruity especially with bananas, and tropical fruits; and bubble gum, grains, lots of herbs- camomile, thyme, lavender, along with phenols, perfume, parma violets, cement, minerals, dough, sourdough, cloves, bready and soap. Mainly sweetish but with some dry bitterness in the finish. Interesting brew! Good stuff!

Cheers!

Hi Viv,
Not sure what is happening now, but it seems that starting from this post, the pictures also do show up inside the message too.
Actually not bad, because the pix will also show up now when clicking recent posts.

What website do you use for Picture Optimizing?
Working on it Viv!

Hi Filip,

Great holiday report! Lots of nice beers tasted, although
mainly session beers/thirst quenchers rather than sippers!

I just post my original photos now as I noticed the file size
would fit in without using any website optimizing. Quicker,
easier, and more effective, and they are visible when using
my phone to check the BBB too.

Cheers!

Hi Viv,
There is one problem though  :chin:
Your pictures are very big. They are about 2 Megabytes now.
There still is 8 Gigabytes free on the server, which makes that a maximum of 4000 pictures of 2 Megabytes can be posted to completely fill the webspace.
But, there is a solution!
I can easily grab your picturer and put them om my FlickR account (unlimited webspace).
I resize them for you and replace them with your original big pictures. I can even make them more beautiful too.
As such our webspace won't be affected at all.
.....and they will be visible when using your phone too!
Seems a great idea to me though  t_u
Cheers,
Filip
