Wild/Sour Ale from Breda, a relatively new brewery ( formed 2020 ) that is
reviving some old and discontinued brews of Leuven. This brew used to be
produced by de Eendracht before being taken over by Artois, then Interbrew
and then InBev, until being discontinued in 1974. ABV of 6.0%. New brew for me.

Pours a deep golden amber blonde with a large rocky creamy frothy head. Good lacing.

Fresh, airy, floral, herbal, and wheaty aroma.

It's medium bodied, and nicely carbonated with a slightly fizzy and filling mouthfeel. Despite being well balanced, and with some complexity and depth of flavour there's a lovely light and fresh feel to it ith summer stone and berry fruits especially citrus, plus banana, hops, florals, vanilla, wheat and cloves, with a sour and very slight puckering finish, all on a slight malt base. Quite acidic, bitter and dry As it warms minerals and grains become dominant along with giving it a full mouthfeel and body. Good stuff!

Cheers!
