BOURGOGNE DES FLANDRES  t_u t_u t_u t_u t_u

Flanders Red from Bourgogne des Flandres, which used to be brewed at/by Timmermans,
with an ABV of 5.0%. Last tasted in 2009.

Pours a deep ruby burgundy, with a good sized bubbly frothy head. Not much lacing.

Sweetish aroma of malts, figs, plums and raisins.

It's thin bodied, and nicely carbonated with a silky smooth and creamy mouthfeel and
texture. It's very easy drinking, complex, and with a great depth of flavour,
especially for the ABV. Sweetish, and fruity with lots of cherry, raspberry, fig, with
a crisp, sharp tartness, caramel, hops, honey, malts, and extremely vinous. Long dry
finish, and overall very refreshing. Good stuff! I had forgotten how good this brew is!

Cheers!
