OURS POLAIRE  t_u t_u t_u t_u t_u

Winter Honey Ale from La Binchoise, with an ABV of 10.0%. New brew for me.
(Winter version based on their brew Ours, the Honey Ale. Bears-Honey Yes; Polar
Bears-Honey ??)

Pours a slightly cloudy golden blonde, with a bubbly head which quickly dissipates
down to a solid smallish residue lasting throughout, but no lacing is produced.

Aroma of malts, hops, herbals and honey.

It's full bodied, and although it looks flat is well carbonated with a soft, filling,
slightly fizzy gassy mouthfeel which lasts throughout. Well balanced, complex, and
with great depth of flavour there's lots of honey, malts, hops, phenols, grains,
caramel, and spices. There's a touch of alcohol at it's warmest too. Bittersweet
and dry, and definitely not oversweet by any means, with layers of flavours which
change with every mouthfull especially as it warms. It creates a nice warming feeling
in the mouth and a bit in the stomach. I really love the way the flavours work
together and the mouthfeel. Excellent brew!!!

Cheers!
