Just took a quick look at their website. That's how a festival should be conducted. Free entrance, and open for a fair amount of hours, from 2pm to 10pm. Also, you can either keep your tasting glass or turn it back in for a refund on the deposit.

Most festivals here in the states you have to pay an entrance fee, and then often the session in which you are able to attend is rather short, sometimes only a few hours long. So you end up standing in line most of the time, and instead of being able to sit down and enjoy your beer you just leave one line and drink your beer while waiting in the next line. Not my idea of a good time. And I can't ever recall attending a festival here where you can turn your glass back in if you want.

Enjoy your visit to the festival Filip, I look forward to your report.

Cheers! - John

John,
Unfortunately the festival has just been canceled due to the "situation".
More unfortunately is that a new Covid variant (B.1.1.529) has been detected in South-Africa, which looks like it is more virulent than the already extremely virulent Delta version.
Take care

Oh no, what a shame. Seems like this will never end.
