TETE DE MORT TRIPLE  t_u t_u t_u t_u t_u

Triple Ale from du Bocq, with an ABV of 8.1%. New brew for me.

Pours a light golden blonde with a huge rocky bubbly creamy head. Good lacing.

Spicy, herbal, malty hoppy aroma.

It's medium bodied, and nicely carbonated with a lovely soft filling slightly fizzy
mouthfeel. Wonderful layered complexity, great depth of flavour, and well balanced.
At its coldest it's sharp, crisp and refreshing with lots of hops, malts, herbals,
spices, and fruity with zest, along with some phenols, bananas, bubblegum, and yeast,
all rather dry and bitter. As it warms the malty sweetness develops and it becomes
far more grainy, but the phenols, spices and herbals remain. This is absolutely
wonderful stuff indeed, and probably my favourite brew from du Bocq. It's almost
like a mix of St.Bernardus Triple, Triple Karmeliet and Triple LeFort.

Cheers!

That's quite an enticing description. Undoubtedly I'll never see this beer available for purchase here where I live, but if I ever do come across it should I ever travel again it will be one that I will certainly seek out. Sounds wonderful Viv!
