Hi Jay,
Thanks for mentioning this great movie!
I subscribed to the channel and will from now on ask for a "Bernadette" when going to the Westcorner of Belgium!
Cheers,

Hi guys,

I think most of what was said was pretty common knowledge anyway,
and I think the real factor in their growth in the last 10-20 years
has been from the explosion of interest in "craft" beer online along with
worldwide accessability to these "craft" beers.

In other words, there's lots of information out there as well as the means
of people buying the products worldwide. St.Bernardus 12 has regularly
been in top 3 listings along with Westvleteren 12 and Rochefort 10 so
naturally people have been very keen to try them. Same with Lambic beers.

Quality of the beer is the major factor though!

Tourism is the biggest industry worldwide now so every country is doing
it's best to attract visitors, with maybe a unique selling point ( or two.)

It's good that you can visit many bars worldwide and see Belgians
available so long as you have plenty of local brews to choose from as well.

Cheers!
